What is this 49th Dimension, anyway?

Meet your crazed craft maven hosts:

Mrs. Ogre

Holly lives in a remote land south of the 49th parallel called Murca. In Kalamazooland, her home area, werewolves and zombies still maraud at will - she and her young, innocent family fight these vicious beasts with mass quantities of snot and the odd knitting needle or ten. Really, just your average soccer mom who happened to marry an Ogre.

Brouhaha
Kristina lives in a big bad city in the Fiefdom of Trana (north of the 49th parallel) and routinely ignores the stares of the urban zombies who don't appreciate singing and dancing in public. Or perhaps she's just too fixated on her next destination - either the local yarn shop or the Goodwill where she gets her wannabe Doug McKenzie gear and many, many craftables. And don't get in her way en route, eh?!

Holly and Kristina both welcome you to The 49th Dimension! You'll surely enjoy the cross border crafting adventures of Mrs. Ogre and Brouhaha...

(oops - wrong photo...)

(that's better!)

Follow their trials and tribulations and look at many pretty (and, frankly, not so pretty) photos

But beware...
Don't believe everything you read...NOTHING is safe (or sacred...) in the 49th Dimension!!!

We cannot reveal all the secrets about life in The 49th Dimension right away... you'll just have to keep reading to find out.

However, we think it's safe to say you'll be right at home in The 49th Dimension if:

- Smarties and Fritos chilli cheese chips are your manna from heaven

- you dream of being able one day to sample ham 'n cheese potato chips

- you are entranced by crazed crafting...

Treasures from Trash...

charity knitting adventures...

haute couture...

(eat your heart out, Giorgio Armani!)

(Prada has nothing on us!)

(they should make Pirates of the Caribbean #4 just to give this piece a showcase, eh?)

fine dining...

big stompin' boots...

talismans...
Handmaiden silk yarns...

the Solid Gold Dancers...

or all of the above!

So, don't be scared - take the plunge. The only thing we bite are chocolate bars and chips, really.
